The midnight sun was one of the powers of the Egyptian priests and a mystery of alchemy.

 

The mysterious lights that illuminated the temples of the Egyptians could be seen at midnight as well as at high noon.

 

It was the weird light seen ten miles below the surface of the earth by "I-AM-THE-MAN" in the Masonic allegory titled Etidorpha (Aphrodite backwards).
